Our History, Mission, & Vision

Since 1963, MacArthur Park Lutheran School has been dedicated to providing high-quality early education in a faith-based, nurturing environment. As a ministry of MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, we welcome children ages 18 months through 1st grade, offering small class sizes, hands-on learning, and a whole-child approach that fosters both academic and social-emotional growth.

Our curriculum includes Handwriting Without Tears, Frog Street, Sadlier, Steck Vaughn, and Evan Moore, aligning with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. Daily activities such as chapel, music class, library visits, and outdoor exploration create a well-rounded learning experience that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Located near Loop 410 and the airport, our tree-covered campus provides a peaceful setting for learning and play. Families appreciate our flexible scheduling options, with:

  • 18 months – 3 years: Half-day program (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Pre-K – 1st grade: Full school day (8:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

  • Extended care available: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

As a Texas Rising Star provider, we proudly accept CCS and generally follow the NEISD school calendar for added convenience. Schedule a tour today and discover why families choose MacArthur Park Lutheran School for a strong academic foundation in a Christ-centered community!
